Overview
Along with Cayuga Lake, Seneca Lake remains one of the best buys in the finger lakes.  The city of Geneva sits on the north end of the lake.  You will find Watkins Glen on the south end.  Seneca Lake is lined with some of the best wineries in the finger lakes.

Personal
The number of wedding receptions I have attended on Seneca Lake are too many to count.  The north end of the lake is home to some of the best lakefront spots for large events.  Friends of our family own a home on Seneca Lake, so I was fortunate enough to spend some weekends enjoying the great fishing Seneca Lake offers.
